Some of the most talented, passionate and skilled design practitioners that I've worked with in my career. Leadership in my immediate area of business and my direct line manager have been excellent. I've had an opportunity to work on some very exciting projects during my time at Shell, from being a subject matter expert on a global brand refresh to a being a part of the Shell Design System team, a product that helps engineering / product teams to build their products faster and more efficiently.

Cons

The complete lack of understanding from leadership about the value of design. Insane levels of politics and bureaucracy. Focus on cutting European teams (that deliver value) in favour of off-shoring to India.

Great work life balance if you're not in Operations. Salary is in top quartile with good benefits, although there are other places that pay more.

Cons

Toxic managers are promoted simply due to relationships with higher ups or achievement even though they're lacking people skills and not good leaders in general.

Office, Facilities, HSE for Employee safety, CTC( Though there were no proper hikes for the past 2 years)

Cons

The ERP is very poorly managed and all that Managers know is shouting (barking) at the people. One may or may not get a good package else where but will definitely get respect. Too much hiring happened in the last 5 years and now came the season of job cuts. No Job security.

Constant restructuring, makes people worry about their job. Staff needs to go through painful re-org process, get constantly anxious about oneself and feel self worth is not valued day by day due to steep competition and rejection from hiring manager.

Cons
