Pros

1. Excellent office space. Full of perks. Top notch facilities eg: Massage chairs, cricket net, lots of games and relaxing places. 2. Excellent work culture. No pressure to stay in office of X hours or so. Very collaborative employees. 3. The company is growing around 40% YoY. So it directly reflects on the RSUs you get.

Cons

1. Zero growth opportunity. They hire people from diverse technology background eg: Java, C#, Python development. While hiring, the work is not clearly mentioned. Its said, that the work will be extensively on Javascript and lot of code logic to write and all. But in reality, you will be using the ServiceNow platform like a tool. To develop applications, just drag drop stuffs to create an application. The coding part is hardly 20-30%. Not ideal for really techie guys/girls who are looking for good quality work which involves programming. 2. The management is becoming more process oriented. This is not expected from a good product company. The focus is shifting from quality of work to quantity of work per say.

Pros

The company invested heavily on sales and marketing workforce. It is good to see the brand name everywhere.

Cons

As the other reviews illustrates, the organization is heavily focused on marketing and sales investments. For engineers, there is little to no opportunity to learn and adopt modern technologies as the platform forces all the application development to be done in JavaScript. Engineers with server side skills will have no opportunity to build on that skill unless you are in the platform team. Also limited engineering roles can apply frameworks outside of native JavaScript, such as React or Angular. Its a grave yard for engineer's career if you are in the growing mode and looking for a position where you can learn and grow during the projects.

Pros

- 401k match - Great parental benefits - RSU refreshes are great

Cons

State of work at Finance Org is pathetic. We are given no direction and there is no room for growth. Management believes in hiring people rather than promoting from within. Sadly, the quality of work has deteriorated. During every growth conversations with manager, you are promised that you are heading in the right direction and given positive feedback but you are NEVER promoted. There is no transparency or guidance from Finance leaders. It is sad that we hardly even spend time or go out as a team. Lot of silos even within your own team.

We would encourage you to reach out to your HRBP. We will also share your feedback with leaders. Thank you.
