      Great place to start in retail

      Pros

      Great place to start out if you're new to retail. Great employee discount, ESPECIALLY on Sephora brand. Work life balance policy make it easy for you to have a fexilble schedule. If you have have a good manager there can be room for advancement. No commision! You recieve a cut of the monthy bonus if store is productive. Free products from companies to try.

      Cons

      The pay could be better considering they focus on education. Depending on store managment can suck. They're return policy is too open. People will try to return anything without a reciept.

      Pros

      Great discount especially around holiday time, they let you take time off when you need to except during black out dates.

      Cons

      Things are constantly changing, expectations too high for part time employees no opportunity to advance. They say 'no stripes' as to not treat managers differently than employess but they are full of it.

      Pros

      Education! Consistent brand and product training is always given, so there is plenty of opportunity to grow your knowledge. Sephora really emphasizes training, therefore you do not necessarily have to be an "artist" to be a consultant, and a good one at that.

      Cons

      It is difficult to advance within the company, especially if one does not have the flexibility to move stores. There is also a lot of competition for education positions, and PRO beauty team (for the true artists).
