Pros

Free product GRATIS!!! The education you recieve about products and education about retail stragegies is out of this world. You get to learn about make up artistry too. Great discounts. Meeting a lot of great co workers, and learning so much about the beauty industry. Amazing place for networking for the beauty industry too.

Cons

There is no work/life balance. It is really difficult to get promoted. It was abundantly clear that only backstabbers and friends get promoted. You have to work really hard to get sales because you have to do much more "consulting and educating" than other retailers. If you do not like being micro managed, then do not work here! You will be micro managed for everything...what you say, where to go, what to do....they call it "coaching".

Pros

#1 reason - wow, the amount of free product... You seriously don't need to buy most of the stuff you used to! + part of LVMH + great processes and programs + training/education + good support from "home office" + great brands and product + its like any other retail, but the environment makes it VERY special + terrific bonus potential - so many different bonus opportunities

Cons

- the amount of feedback and self discovery that is required - the sales associates run the store because they are given so much "freedom" to express themselves - despite being a "values based company" promotions are truly given based on politics (the same as everywhere else?) - SO MANY DIFFERENT INITIATIVES!!! just because it works well doesn't mean it HAS to be re-done!
