lots of free product, some staff was awesome, you got to be free with looks and hair color.

Cons

Not much room for growth, promoted externally, the uniforms were not comfy, demanding needy clients, some people were petty and lots of drama

Pros

It is amazing to work at a job with fantastic, knowledgeable woman that are as passionate about make up and skincare as I am. They really make sure to invest in their employees. We watch training videos before we go on the sales for to ensure we are knowledgeable and educated. My coworkers are a blast to work with, just the right amount of professional and fun. I feel like management is truly behind us, all the way up through the chain. The gratis is pretty wonderful too ;)

Cons

The holiday and weekend scheduling, but that's to be expected when working retail. There's not much chance for promotion if you're not interested in management and do not want to relocate to San Francisco. Also, I totally understand why we don't work on commission, but it can be frustrating when you sell so much and KNOW in a different job situation you could be making a cut of that. That all being said, you're being paid a margin above minimum wage, and it's tough to make a living on that. I love everything about this job but I just don't feel like it's enough to make a CAREER out of.
