Pros

The staff in the restaurant/hotel are great. When given the opportunity- you can do some great things in the company.

Cons

The country management is just bad. Extremely unorganised, with no intention to improve that. Will make you work extra hours with no overtime pay (and feel guilty if you don't). Have zero understanding of work-life balance, and no respect or minimum appreciation for employees. Toxic environment on all levels. Will promise opportunities to grow/stability and those will never happen (over and over again to multiple employees).

Pros

At Selina you are really valued as an individual rather than just as a worker. At Selina everyone is treated equally and everyone is open to help you learn... I´ve come from being an intern to a full time connector and given the trust to take on big responsibilities roles with little to none experience and given so much opportunities to learn and grow 100% Fully remote

Cons

It´s fully remote, so if you are a people person like me... working from home won´t be that exciting. Good news is all Selina interns and connectors have the co work space available, so you can become a full time nomad and work at every Selina location you desire.

Pros

The atmosphere within the staff was amazing. I made friends that I can take for life.

Cons

Disorganized. Low salary for skills and responsibilities. The leaders are difficult to reach and are not at all worried about the well being of the guests. Corrupt. Illegal operating locations, with old structures that don't have a legal license to operate. They don't care about the well-being of the employees and if you have a medical condition, they're gonna use it against you. CEO and Heads of department are out of their minds, they only think about expanding and keeping the costs down. They try to hide their flaws, but in reality it pays really low if compared to the prices they have, the rotation of the staff is insane. Online reviews are often manipulated.
