Pros

The people can be fun to work with, the high turnover rate keeps the people you see on a regular basis rotating. Flexible working, if you explain you like certain things certain ways, they usually work out a solution for you.

Cons

The management have no idea how to run a hotel in the UK. They mainly have experience out of UK hotels so they believe the same things apply. For example, they wanted a skate park in a bar. They have spent ridiculous amounts on snack, events and bar stuff yet next to nothing on the bedrooms that have been needing to be improved for decades. Oh, I was there for 5 years, I didn't improve in my career position. Don't expect growth here at all

The local team excluding HR and directors or region managers

Cons

If you are not covering the fishy tricks and desissions HR and Directors make you will be against them and you will probably get fired. The CEO is clearly not aware that local team in mexico is making a huge business out of the company for personal uses.
