      Not what it's cracked up to be

      Lots of over time available

      Cons

      Reliefs are not reliable. Poor pay. No clear instructions or support at the site. Managers don't answer their phone calls leaving you on your own. No consistent schedule with many changes at the last minute. No support when some makes an accusation. Had to work in my own car using my own gas to stay warm in the winter and comfortable in the summer. Clients lock us out of bathrooms. Had to use nearby busineses if they were open. No place to microwave food. Allow the clients to walk all over security officers. Often found posts left open for lack of officers as well as asleep.

      Top management hates people

      Pros

      Growing market internationally but without motivated employees it doesn't matter.

      Cons

      All the way from CEO and down the top management team is a bunch of small minded racists who genuinely hates both their customers and employees. I've never heard a top manager say something visionary or inspirational, so if you have visions, ideas and want to grow - STAY AWAY. Securitas will kill you from within.

      People I worked with were great.

      Cons

      No room for advancement looked on as assets instead of human beings any overtime worked seems to be always be a problem with pay, if management do come to site about 1 a month don't even bother talking to you Do not feel valued, holidays weren't granted even though 7 months notice given, quick turnaround of staff , cutbacks all the time. Morale low, no guidance, no procedures in place, no up to date training given even though it was highlighted I needed it.
