Lied to me during orientation. My branch made it seem like theirs a ton of officers that are able to come and relieve you if you get sick or your relief gets sick. That’s completely false. I’m a full time student and have class and homework, originally I was looking for a part time job and the job posting said that they were hiring for PT. I go into the interview and get hired and they place me on FT. I ask about that and they said they’re only hiring FT and if I was looking to work PT there’s no available spots. I only stayed because i needed money and it was the summer A “freeze” on time off requests because there’s a lack of officers in my branch. Employees constantly call in sick and you get stuck with a 12 hour shift and are still expected to come in for your next shift. Schedulers harass you into coming in on your days off (I just ignore their calls)
