Pros

If you are looking for a flexible schedule this might be the place. However you can usually get that at most retail stores. Store manager makes himself visible to frontline employees.

Cons

Horrible department manager and training support. You basically do a week of computer training and then expected to perform exceptionally well.

Pros

Always get time off that is needed. Overall the people are great to work with. Communication between managment an employees is good.

Cons

Absolutely no advancemnt possible. Raises and pay rate really is a joke comparing to other retail companies managers are usually embarrassed to give out reviews and raises for this reason.

Pros

Sears hires smart, driven individuals who are focused on being successful and winning the game. For the most part people are very collaborative and willing to help others out.

Cons

New structure has too many chiefs and too few Indians, which bogs down the system and our ability to get things done quickly.
