Pros

Great benefits, advancement opportunities are great if you know someone, great team environment. People who come in, do their job without asking a lot of questions, keep their head down and keep quiet will be moved up faster, regardless of skill.

Cons

It's retail folks, so no weekends, holidays etc. off. Lately, the company has brought on outsiders into management that have questionable work ethics. Don't be the squeaky wheel, they will find a reason to get rid of you, even if you are upholding company policy. I have seen it more times than I can count. You are required to do the work of 4-5 people, and asked why you can't get your tasks done. The amount of conference calls and meetings is ridiculous! And finally constantly having your job threatened gets old very quickly! And trust me, you'll hear it even if you are doing a fantastic job!

Pros

From my experience at Sears I would say the best pro is that they are flexible. However, you need to earn you way here before you are able to start taking time off. If you are friendly with management they are very willing to work with you. Also, there is the potential to make a fair amount of money if you are living with your parents. If you are on your own I would look elsewhere for bigger paychecks.

Cons

District and regional managers like to beat you up over TEDs (Tire Enhancement Dollars), MEDs (Maintenance Enhancement Dollars), and any other acronym they can come up with a number for. They are very shortsighted on the way they want business done and spend far more time complaining about dust and product that isn't on the shelf straight. If you're looking for money for a house or are planning on living on your own look somewhere else. If you are just looking for some spending cash then this will be great for you.

Pros

The Pay was good, and the employees were awesome.

Cons

The boss was a monster. Treated employees like crap, and she half a**ed all the work. Overall terrible place to work.
