Pros

Meet new people and some nice customers (sometimes)

Cons

Pay was horrible for the work you do, management wasn't good as far as recognition, managers would walk around on their phones in front of customers and don't care, wouldn't answer pages or concerns from others, no morals with some associates, lack of teamwork

Pros

People are great, despite being treated poorly. Craftsman product is good to stand behind, long company tradition. Hard to get fired from there.

Cons

Way too many "vacation blackout dates". They black out Super Saturday Sale days, which basically means you NEVER get a Saturday off. Mangers work 50 hour minimum weeks, and that's BEFORE 4th quarter. Mandatory 6 day weeks for managers in November and December, at 10 hour days minimum. So many metrics get tracked, and it's never good enough on any of the scores. Managers spread WAYYY to thin, and yelled at by District Manger every time you turn around.

Pros

These are some good reason to work at Sears: flexible schedule, great place to get on job experience, good team environment.

Cons

Some reason to not work at Sears are: lower income, less oportunities to grow, non sense excuses to laid off workers.
