Pros

every one is thee is like family. i worked at Macys and going from Macy to Sears was a better experience. there is lots of teamwork and management will go out of there way to help u. best job i have ever had.. Thank you

Cons

they are cutting management and stores. they need to lissen to the customer.. bring in self check outs and retain employees... closing "unprofitable stores" is not the answer you need to figure the why... Retail is coming back and Sears needs to show the American people we are here to stay.. for america Sears is like to Coke..

Worst company to work for

Pros

Nothing that I could see

Cons

It is one of the worst companies that I have worked for. During the interviews they will give a different picture of your job description but after joining it would be nothing like that. The top management doesn't even have a vision for the next six months. They can hire and fire you within 2 months just giving cost cutting as the reason. They can retain you by providing big packages and then again fire you within 3 months. The managers there will always save themselves during layoffs and kick out 5 other people who deserve to be there. Old technologies, bad HR practices and no processes set.
