Cons

Management is so far removed from reality and surrounded by individuals that just know how to agree and say yes, rather than actually see and fight for what is right.

Good learning curve in the beginning. Lots of experienced people to learn from. Lots of potential projects if you communicate with the right people. Also lots of opportunities across departments.

Cons

After about 6 months, the work becomes repetitive and mentoring ends. At this point you need to teach yourself anything you want to learn.

Schindler is still a rather well known, international company in the elevator and escalator industry. Schindler products can be found all over the globe and have visibility.

Cons

Recent cost cutting driven by the HQ and the new CEO. Cost cutting is highly undiffrentiated and creates a lot of tension within the organization. Overall unattractive work conditions which. New Group GM prefers to present himself in the local media to announce how close he is to the base/staff. However, this is highly hypocritical, especially in the light of recent cost savings whivh exclude top management. Oldfashioned corporate culture which still considers employees as human ressources instead of human capital.
