Pros

Good Pay and Benefits, the program is very good as well for any qualified clients. Management rating depends not eh branch as you are working for a branch manager and a District Executive which could be a crap shoot.

Cons

A lot of employees do not understand the program or how it works. The investment side of the bank is in complete chaos. Financial Consultants leave after a year or so. Investments are a major part of your business and clients are loath to trust you with their investments because of high turnover at FC position and at branch.

Pros

-Relaxed work atmosphere -Good location -Most employees are great to work with

Cons

-Management has no clear direction at all -Not enough work to perform -Work is allocated poorly (some employees work over the weekends, others have nothing to do) -No appreciation for hard work -If you are not Spanish, not much opportunity to move forward in career development -Backwards way of doing promotions (sometimes need to leave the company and come back to apply for a higher position) -Salaries well below market average -People leave the company and the department does not fill any positions -Extremely high use of consultants, leading to high costs, and ultimately lower pay/benefits

Pros

CPE credits and good benefits for a private organization. In fact, the idea of having a functional IA department is there but has yet to materialize.

Cons

Not sure where to begin. Certain people in management are not qualified to do their job. Some of them have absolutely no audit background/knowledge and do not have the skills necessary to manage effectively. Worse of all, senior management refuses to address the issues and prefer to keep losing great talents. If you are a professional with good work ethics, please do yourself a favor: STAY AWAY FROM SANTANDER INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT! STAY AWAY! If you would like to corroborate this comment, ask a few recruiters in the Boston area and they will tell you.
