      Top know-how in metallurgical processes/products. Strong in 3 main values: Team spirit + fair play + open mind Performance and talent Managemen policy is a big asset.

      Cons

      I worked in a small facility within the Sandvik group and many of the good advantages that are offered in the group globally you can not have access from an small facility. Job opportunities for instance.

      Pros

      It used to be, in 1991 and before, that the upper management knew the workforce and the customers very well. There was a strong team culture in the US. Now the culture is more towards the collective, not the individual and this has resulted in stagnant growth.

      Cons

      The growth is slow and a lot of business has moved off shore. Management is in Europe & Canada. You are a second class citizen compared with the head office & employees in Sweden.
