Thank for your leaving this review, and we’re pleased that you are enjoying your role within our HR department. We are currently going through a period of change through our ‘Modern Workplace’ programme, which will in time enable us to be more agile in how we work. Through our Staff Rewards scheme we have listened to staff who have also aired their views on a Groupwide staff survey, and we are pleased to say that this successfully took place during September. Thank you.

Pros

Good wage, tools uniform van etc all supplied.

Cons

There certainly is an us and them culture between ops and management who often lie and bully you to get work done often with total disregard to health and safety. If anything goes wrong they’ll do all they can to pin the blame on you. No chance of progression unless you have connections with people higher up or if you happen to be a bit of a pain in the backside and/or not very good at your job and your supervisor wants to get rid of you. It pays not to be very good at your job here as regardless of skills/qualifications etc we all get payed the same, so if your any good at your job be prepared to be worked very hard, were as those lesser skilled get all the easy jobs and don’t even break a sweat. They are normally short sighted with their goals which usually comes with consequences later on and seem to spend their money in the wrong areas.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are really concerned about some of the points you have raised and would like to assure you that bullying in the workplace is not acceptable. We would urge you to raise these concerns with your supervisor or HR Business Partner, who will take the time to discuss this with you in more detail. Staff members can, of course, speak to their staff council representative too regarding their concerns about bullying and/or lack of progression opportunities. You can also email more details to resourcing.team@sanctuary-housing.co.uk
