Pros

If you are a Manager, the salary and benefits. If you are a lower employee, salary is extremely low, there contract are temporarely and there management put a "shield" between them and you. The only reason to jion Samsung if you are a young one is that ofter a couple of years, at every door where you will knock someone will open and will give you an interview. The brand is very powerfull but there man do not count inside the company.

Cons

Koreans want to put their mind and taste in Europe. But it cannot works.

Pros

Opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies. Opportunity to experience Asian working style and relationship :), noticeable record in resume.

Cons

Military/Korean promotion style, early promotion almost impossible despite of your achievements, you can only be promoted after the fixed time interval. Inflexible working schedule. I was lucky to work in two teams and the impression is completely different, everything depends on your team leader. If your manager follows the korean old management style you can be forced to work overtime even if this work is really useless. Also, overtime job payment is unfair, much less than one for ordinary working hour.
