Pros

Samsung Electronics is the worldwide leader in the consumer electronics market, working in a company with such credential is very attractive in terms of what you can expect to learn or the specific weight it can ad to your resume. Unfortunately, this kind of things are useful only if you plan to stay in the company for a few years and then get a job somewhere else. Other employers are confident that a former Samsung's employee has a lot of experience within a leading multinational company.

Cons

Top management positions, career development, important promotions are reserved only for Koreans, so if you are a local employee your chances to receive recognition for your job and evolve within the company are extremely low. All decisions appear to be made in close environments reserved for Korean staff, local employees don't get the chance to participate or expose opinions to management levels. After some decision is taken, Korean in charge communicate to the rest of employees with a "don't ask questions and follow orders" kind of speech. Employees who have to deal with customers or suppliers (sales account reps or managers, marketers, etc) find themselves in the middle of endless discussions or negotiations that don't go anywhere, serving only as translators or messengers, because Koreans always have the power of decision making and most of the time they don't make any decision, and if they do it is impossible for local staff to participate in the process and they only receive directions. Sometimes customers have the feeling that they are being fooled or cheated by Koreans because they don't keep to their words or just let the time pass without making any decision expecting the issue to be forgotten by the other part.
