I'm super close to finishing up my Master's in Social Work and I could not have done it without the team at Sample Supports. I had the opportunity to work full-time while maintaining an internship at one of our co-businesses, Sample Therapy Services, and complete my degree within two years. My internship opportunities focused on clinical as well as policy based work where I received supervision from a team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers. My work experience across programs mirrored all of the skills that I have learned through my studies and I felt like I was able to put concepts into action. I love being able to see the mission at Sample Supports focus on the values and ethics of the social work field. Being able to build a career while advancing my education has been such a rewarding experience and I plan to grow on the Sample Supports team!

Cons

The agency is fast-paced and we encourage our teammates to keep up! This may present challenges as we are training new team members, but we have a bonded and supportive coworker group that is there to answer any questions or concerns as arise. Working in human services will always be an adventure and I appreciate having an engaging environment to do that in.

I get to take something I'm good at and feel good Im doing it every day. Never thought I would make this kind of money in this industry. Getting paid from two companies is a deal. Not wanting to mess it up. I don't want anything more - feeling happy where I am at.

Cons

Finding housing in Longmont - hate the commute.
