Pros

I had pretty enjoyable and heelpful co-workers, no real experiece required. A free membership can come in handy as well.

Cons

The higher level management is totally out of touch with the lower level employees, they (the low end) are very much taken for granted and not treated with the respect that they deserve.

Pros

The best part about my job is that I am smart and take care of my business, so unless I start slacking, I pretty much work unsupervised. I am, IMHO, one of the best associates there; I rarely not do what was asked of me unless I have a reason to support me not doing it. This helps me gain more respect from the managers than a typical associate.

Cons

The hours our horrible, benefits and time off are also bad. Poor recognition of good work. I have been there almost 5 years without one employee of the month recognition. No time off, other than your 2 days off, will be approved during Nov 1 and Jan 15th due to the holiday season.

Pros

The supervisors praise you. You don't have to be there to early nor leave to late ever. The pay is alot better then at a supermarket. You have alot of freedom.

Cons

Not enough cashiers since the people who shop there usually buy lots of items since it's wholesale so you may have very long lines especially if there isn't anyone to PDA items. Not enough COS's if you need an override it will be a minimum of 3 minutes. You have to be real careful of the many ways you can get a pickslip because if you get one you can't transfer stores nor move departments for a year.
