Pros

I loved my co- workers I like the fact that we received a free membership card The pay was Ok Every now and then we would get free lunch in the breakroom

Cons

All they care about is how many pluses you get and they don't care how you get them, lie or whatever. They started doing this weekly coaching right before I quit to get the numbers of pluses up it was so annoying i felt like i was back in high school because they wanted you to take the strips home and study them! I changed my availability in the summer so by the time school started back it wouldnt be a problem but it took them like 3 or 4 months to change it so in the mean time i had to find people to work my shift, the manager even told the cos's not to change my schedule that i would just have to come in. They had cashier meetings at night like 3 or 4 times a month that lasted till about 10:30 pm sometimes later They also think everybody are muscle men bacause they want you to transfer everything from flatbeds,, most of the time by yourself. They sit in the office and watch everything you do by looking at the cameras..then they call you in the office to say you not saying the strip becauce they watching your mouth!! And just like Walmart they don't care about customer service.. Managers couldnt even get pluses but that want you too

Pros

- Good Pay for Salaried Members of Managers - Great Pay for Co-Managers - Outstanding Pay for Club Managers - Fantastic Bonus Structure that scales with Pay - 85% of the associates are absolutely wonderful - Majority of programs are "planned" wonderfully

Cons

- Long Hours, 60-70 per week (If you want to have a successful career) - Forget spending holidays with family ever again - You are a target for Members, Associates, and Upper Management: Member's blame you for long lines when budgets are cut or a particular policy is not in their favor. Associates will blame you for all of the companies problems and that you personally are cutting their hours. Upper management blame you for lack of execution of company programs while continuing to hammer you on poor metrics. - Working will burnt-out managers who are not willing to put in their share. - Poor Training, on the job. Handed keys and told good luck!
