Pros

Great associates, hard working people.

Cons

Horrible Management from top-down. Every-man-for-himself mentality. Do as I say, not as I do environment. Asst. Managers overworked/underpaid and often disrespected. Easily threatened by good talent. There is minimal upward mobility unless you are a minority. Lost sight of Walton's philosophy. Management always too busy to back up associates, breeds disrespect for the individual. No consistency/continuity from corporate; always changing direction. Trying to keep up with Amazon and Costco. Zero common sense company. Associate morale in clubs akin to a funeral. Horrible company.

Pros

You get two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute break. $12 and hour for overnight workers. Great managers, very friendly. I would work there again if I could. Coworkers are great company. They even supply food on your breaks!

Cons

They do not take sick days, even with a doctors note. Lack of equipment to do your job with. No overtime, they do stress that and will force you to cut your hours.

Pros

More laid back atmosphere compared to working during store's open hours, pays an extra $1.00 differential.

Cons

Very physically demanding, especially handling cases of water, 50lb bags of rice, large bags of dog food, etc. Women are treated preferentially, drawing the less demanding work assignments but paid the same. Very high turnover rate which increases pressure on experienced staff which in turn contributes to more turnover. Newly (is that a word ?) promoted co-managers are assigned to night shift and of course they're eagerly convinced they know everything.
