Pros

I like meeting and talking with new members, gaining their trust in my expertise of the job that I do.

Cons

Sam’s Club recently converted its scheduling system to “block scheduling” which means that for full-time people, there are only two shifts: open or close. For me personally, my shift is 5a.m.

Pros

Good starting pay and built in "small" 2 percent raises.

Cons

Sickness is not an "excused absence".

Pros

Some employees were the sweetest you would ever meet they made you feel welcomed Pay was good

Cons

Their "conservative" policies for hair, tattoos, and piercings are so outdated that it makes them look bad. If they wanted their company to look professional with no dye or piercings then also give the employees uniforms instead of allowing employees to wear their normal everyday clothes. They literally fear monger you against unions. Severally disorganized and orientation was a complete mess that the guy who was teaching me at the register left at least 5 or 6 times throughout my shift to do something or walk around to talk to other employees. Which later caused me problems because I did not know how to do certain things from paying off membership bills etc.. they want you to teach yourself. Some COS should not be COS I had at least two COS who would leave the front end to walk and joke around the store with other employees in different departments. Also, had COS who made employees below them feel like complete idiots or disrespected them. Push pluses and credits too much even when Sam's credit cards are the worst for fraud.
