Pros

Challenging work that relates to solving tough problems for the travel industry. Flexible work from home policy but hear that it might be changing soon.

Cons

Outdated technology with no plans of investing back in the business. Really good opportunity for startups to build and compete

Pros

a few smart people. A nice work from home policy which allows employees to work from home once a week (depends on the manager). Pay and benefits are good Location is a plus

Cons

Middle management lacks direction and often turns out to be just paper pushers. Work life balance for people who work in geographically dispersed teams is really bad despite the nice work from home policy Sabre doesn't like to innovate or invest money on new technology. Many of their products are 25 to 30 years old and they don't really invest money into making them any better. While this might be a informed and intelligent business decision, its an extremely unattractive prospect for technology folks. A lot of folks has been around for several decades and are unwilling to change or innovate in any manner.
