Pros

A collaborative environment where the majority of people want to help. Lots of international & racial diversity which can be seen in their approach to problem solving. A lot of company benefits that one could take advantage of such as Hinge or Omada virtual health. Plenty of community service activities.

Cons

This is a company with no work-life balance. Lives up to the reputation of consuming people and discarding them like trash. Boundaries are constantly violated. Majority of people have had heart attacks and other serious stress induced life threatening illnesses as a result. Constant layoffs despite performance has the employee morale low. People work extremely hard based out of fear and fear is the main fact of why they're still there. You also find the usual discrimination that you find at any corporate American oil and gas service company.

Pros

Best work life balance. Free food.

Cons

There are lots of worst things are there. First promotion and salary growth is 0. Even your efforts and so much of contributions, only people who are managers favourite will get hike and promotion on time. The whole IT field is going on the basis of favouritism. Never acknowledged fresh mind and new ideas.

Pros

This job will be good as a first job in the industry, Training - Their training is among the best in the world and they will teach you from the ground up. Prepare to get dirty as you will be doing lots of hands on training. Career Progression - You are in a program that will train you on how to be a manager in a few years, Travel - When you get enough experience you may be able to travel to many different states People - you will meet a lot of great people internal and external Pay - It's very good after you get promoted out of trainee status (6-8 months usually) This job will 100% help you grow many skills in most business lines: Customer Engagement Interpersonal Skills Working with tools Problem solving/Troubleshooting Leadership Etc.

Cons

Almost all business lines work very long hours (12+ is very common), Do not expect a worklife balance Work is remote most of the time Labor Intensive - For some lines you can be lifting and dragging very heavy pieces of equipment. You will also be expected to work in extreme heat, cold , rain, snow, etc. If you don't like driving multiple hours to and from locations, this job is not for you. Ask the right questions and choose the right business line for you. The hours and work will burn you out quickly if you don't choose what you think you will be passionate in.
