Pros

- Good Name - Pay is above average for oilfield service companies -

Cons

-Pay is alot lower than working for oil and gas company -Low employee morale at product center -Most people are only focused on just their job. If you ask someone to do something a little outside their normal routine then they get flustered -Field personnel are treated like sh*t -Unrealistic deadlines on projects -Everyone is so afraid to make a mistake that no one (including management) will make a firm decision. Its really funny to watch senior management assign action items in meetings because no body wants to do any extra work -This place is all about placing blame when something goes wrong

Pros

SLB has integrity when it comes to their product and the safety of their employees. Opportunities for advanced learning (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Cons

Primarily an engineering company as opposed to a manufacturing company. Can be a problem if you work in the manufacturing segment.
