      Pros

      Schlumberger is an excellent company to work with. It has open door culture where everyone at work is easily approachable. It is in process of implementation of one of the largest SAP landscape so lot of learning in addition to good compensation. Has cutting edge technologies like SAP, HANA, HADOOP, Mobility, Big data, etc

      Cons

      Some HR process need to be worked upon which is already being worked upon.

      Pros

      I worked with a manager who gave me lot of autonomy and freedom. I was way under paid (compared to peers and market) when I came into the company. My manager had to fight tooth and nail to get my salary up the market average

      Cons

      Terrible industry to work for. After working here I realized how cut throat this industry is. If you're an engineering and don't mind having zero work/life balance then you will like SLB. They also reward engineers well but don't care much about other functions.

      The best reason of working there is that we had many opportunities to learn about the field and stay safe.

      the downsides there were having no time to rest, and the environment was not that friendly
