None after the new horrible management came in

Cons

The new management of SKF India doesn't value employees, arbitrary policy implementations, tendency on the part of management to harass employees, no job security (fired 200 employees in the middle of covid crisis). Please don't join this place, it has become worst off late.

Pros

Challenging technical job. Good pension and benefits. Good vacation time if you have the seniority, but that is a long road.

Cons

The division I work for, Aerospace SASS in Elgin, IL, Rampant micromanagement is the norm and there is a very strict hierarchal culture where those that do the creative and technical work are belittled. Creativity and empowerment are not encouraged.

Lack of common sense for local India Management/Leadership. Forcing employees to office even during pandemic and for the even for people who can perform from home. Playing with life of families and installing fear. Hopeless HR team, feels like they are working in Govt Offices. Trying to build new dimension IT team with age old philosophy and policies.
