-Unclear feedback, constant shift in direction.
-Micromanagement and constant blame shifting if a product doesn't sell even though the director approved the product. The boss will throw you under the bus if needed.
-They watch your every move, track your computer and chats. Make sure you are active on the computer or it will turn off after every minute or so.
-The boss will criticize and gaslight you when they don't know the answers to your questions.
-Limited creative autonomy even though on the job description it states that it is an autonomous working environment.
-High pressure- low stability. No clear onboarding, rules, or structured expectations.
-There is mid-year review twice a year based on a highly subjective performance. Ironically, upper management does not set you up for success.
-Lack of transparency and withholds information.
-Need to know Mandarin to succeed.
-Too many teams, no manager. No one knows what's going on.
