Pros
You will have the opportunity to learn a lot of different tests in multiple different areas. You can coordinate and collaborate with your coworkers while also having independent work.
Cons
The work culture that management puts out is not incredibly healthy. Overtime is not voluntary and they will guilt you if you do not comply. The lab is also incredibly unsafe. Water is consistently unavailable due to plumbing issues, and power regularly goes out. Including the plumbing to essential safety materials such as eye wash stations and showers. The air conditioning in the facility is broken and they refuse to fix it so it is regularly over 80 degrees in the lab in the summertime.
