Poor salary - no benefits
Training structure is unorganised and poorly executed
Staff morale is poor
Team leaders care more about sucking up to their bosses than leading a team.
Unsupportive management
Management are bullies, causing a high turn over in the time I was there and ultimately became the reason I left.
Work environment is more like a dictatorship.
Senior management was hardly ever in the office and when they were, they were very standoffish and rude.
Appointed team leader had no knowledge of the entire teams responsibilities and therefore could not provided sufficient support.
All in all, if you're happy working in a degrading, catty environment where you are made to feel as though you have no options and have no recognition for hard work, then work for SGS. Unless you're willing to be apart of the managerial clique... your time here will be made into a misery.
