      Pros

      Provide a friendly and structured work environment for recent immigrants and young graduates. The routine and daily requirements change with seasonal layoffs and allows for a decent work-life balance when you get to transition temporary collect EI for a couple of months during the quiet season.

      Cons

      Poor future growth. Poverty Wages working in the City of Vancouver area. Wage increases are measured in pennies, not dollars. Lots of stress in middle-management due to mid-life crisis or lack of upward mobility or wage growth. Definitely a top-down management style with a focus on costs and liabilities.

      Pros

      Competitive pay, average benefits, casual work environment. Most employees are trying their best and are friendly.

      Cons

      Totally dysfunctional management that rules by fear and by making the simple challenges overly complicated. This allows them to stay in their positions while the company sinks into irrelevance within its industry.

      Pros

      Benefits were OK and some of the team are great to work with.

      Cons

      SGS's middle management were so cliquey. They just hired their old pals from Verizon, even if they were completely unqualified and in most cases incompetent (Which is why Verizon fired them in the first place)
