Pros

- some nice people - somewhat flexible shifts - pay is average

Cons

- cockroaches in the lunchroom and locker area (2 fumigations in 2023 and cockroaches were still seen) - black sewer flies in the washrooms - NO diversity - micromanaging - sexist senior managers - A manager wanted to have a money jar where we put money in any time we make a mistake or don't complete training on time - safety is not taken seriously by upper management - your day depends on if your manager is in a good mood - the lunchroom is small and doesn't fit everyone - everyone is too scared to speak up so when you are the only one speaking up you take the brunt of it

Pros

-Mostly friendly staff, who are more than willing to help. -Great QA/QC department, catches many mistakes and makes clear what the mistakes are. -Events and community building

Cons

-Management is out of touch with employees. -Even when told about mistakes, management refuses to do anything about employees. -Management plays politics over results -HR non-communicative, borderline non-existent -IT refuses to allow basic access in order to perform job responsibilities -Inter-department drama with team leads causing different departments "unable to communicate with each other". There exists actual emails where it is stated certain departments are not allowed to even talk with people from another department. This was also enforced by management for some reason. -People within upper management or HR legitimately believe that employees shouldn't discuss salaries with each other. There exists email evidence of this fact, even though this is illegal. -Very upsetting to know the fact that analysts who have to handle volatile and hazardous materials (SDS states products could cause cancer or even death) get paid significantly less than those who are only in office one day a week.
