Pros

- Get paid to learn and train - Most coworkers are like your classmates in college - There is some flexibility especially if you do the work without much fuss - If you close attention there is even more to learn from pharm to business side of this industry - Almost any other employer will be better in pay, benefits, and anything else related to working

Cons

- Very low pay which is expected in such low margin business - There is only one standard; do it cheap and often - Some departments are much better than others; chemistry and quality vs anything else - Senior staff fall into two categories; very talented or just plain dumb complainers (think of your college classmates who were always jealous of others but older) - Dumb complainers almost always have some irrelevant college degree and having them wear lab coats is a ghastly crime

Pros

Very flexible work hours, easy to talk to managers, a lot of initial training, gain more experience in 1 year than in 4 years of college

Cons

Work load equals too much work for too little pay. Underpaid at all levels, don't care if you have to work over time, only want job done don't care how long it takes you. I have no personal life.

Pros

Gated parking lot and large restrooms.

Cons

No bonuses. No pay raise in last 5 years. People are quitting like crazy. At one point there wasnt enough staff to cover the shifts. Very high turn-over. By the time you finish training someone they are sick of the way the company and managers treat them and they quit. They do not keep anything private. You will find out who gets fired or written up 2-3 days in advance!!! There is too much mess, backstabbing, gossip, and trouble. Don't get me started on the amount of accidents that have occurred and the integrity of the results reported. If you do decide to work here make sure you ask exactly for the money you want or x5 more, because you will get it because no one wants to work here. They hire people with no experience because no one is willing to work here or stay long enough before they have time to fill another position. Doesn't matter how much you get paid you not be able to endure the way things work around here. Someone threaten to come to work and blow up the facility because he was too stressed about the job. Everyone was scared!!
