      Good work life balance. Nice people Job security

      Cons

      1)Appraisal rating is not relevant with your hike. Manager can rate you '4' and can give you hike less than other employee who is rated as '3'. 2) Work from home is only on paper. It takes lots of approval to work from home in SAS. It is not easy to work from home frequently like other companies. 3) You have to be in office from 11 to 4. and you have to complete 8 hours a day.

      Pros

      Excellent work life balance and opportunities for fulfilling work. Cutting edge technologies and smart friendly co workers. Great campus beats it all.

      Cons

      Career development needs more attention from management as some people are stuck in the same role for a long time. Having fresh blood would help to generate new ideas.

      Horrible comp plan for sales

      Better than average health benefits (sales comp is well below industry standard).

      Cons

      Many employees started in sales than move to an operations position. Very telling to how SAS treats sales professionals. Lots of administration in this company which makes simple tasks more complex with lots of unnecessary checks and balances. I would guess triple the administrative staff of most companies a similar size.
