Pros

Fixed 5 on 3 off roster. Enough time to rest or do own stuff as sport or hobbies. Short flights some times so you won't be that much tired. Good sales bonuses if you a good worker. Few new airplanes that is nice to fly with. Good bar catering with large variety of choices.

Cons

Sometimes very busy and long hours if delays happens having to deal with lots of passengers happy or unhappy. Delays not paid. Missing fridges on board.

Pros

We have a nice roster 5/4 and at my base we fly most of the time 2 sectors, three days in a month 4 sectors

Cons

There is no room at all for flexibility. Base assignment is not fair: Direct entry pilots get base immediately. I have been away from home for 4 years.
