Pros

Your fellow coworkers are amazing - unfortunately - they have no control over the work environment. If you have a position that travels then you will see many places for next to nothing.

Cons

The people in charge of the company could care less about their employees. They have no ethics, principles, or morals. You are merely just a body filling a position and nothing more. 10 years ago this was a great company to work for. Not so much anymore. It's just about profit now.

Pros

Travel, intercultural environment, international, high standards, savings, people. Working onbard RCC`s vessels opens up any one`s view about cultures, tourism and good client service.

Cons

Little spare time. While you live onboard you have to be available 24/7. Attach to what can be sensed as military régimen. Too many rools, standard procedures that diminish the pros of working overseas. Poor relation cost/benefit.
