Pros

You get to travel round the world while you work. No living expenses, eat free at the crew mess, crew parties, meet people from all over the world.

Cons

Don't get to see family/friends for months, crew cabins very tiny, no weekends off (just hours off each day), very few washer and dryers available for crew members (depends what ship you work on).

Your fellow employees are nice people who always look to know you. Making it feel like a small business. Convenient gym and cafeteria.

Cons

Not a good environment for the creative field of ui ux designer. Your reporting director takes great pleasure in patronizing and shutting you down. With a negative first outlook. Setting you up with unrealistic deliverables
