Pros

Most of my colleagues (at my level) were nice to work with! Holiday allowances were OK. Was a sales/tech support role so meant working from home and being out on the road - this suited me.

Cons

Very poor management structure, generally do not make the staff feel valued, pay is very poor, sales targets were often unrealistic.

Pros

The vet/animal health industry is a decent industry to work in. Pretty good benefits, vacation and 401k contribution and you get free food for your pets.

Cons

Most managers only seem to care about looking good to their superiors. I have seen managers disregard their team's best interest, undermine their team members, and be anything but transparent. Way too many pointless and time wasting conference calls. Also, some managers act like they care about their team, but I haven't seen my manager in over 4 months (and they claim that they care about my development) The pay is way below average and you are not going to make more money ever while working at Royal Canin.

Pros

Some excellent co-workers. Competitive salary and benefits. Good coffee machine. Comfortable bump caps. Nice white suits provided. I am having trouble coming up with 20 word minimum.

Cons

Management wants to recreate France abroad. Working long hours, doing your very best, and making sacrifices to your personal time only to be treated as an inferior, stupid foreigner in your own country really starts to wear you down.
