Very friendly environment, they train you in the things you'll be doing and some more. You'll walk out with a smile and more knowledge.

Cons

The salary can be a bit better for the full time positions (from what I saw) and they should give a bit more room for moving around in the facility

Pros

top quality products and engineering, Potential for leadership to transform the corporate environment. Name brand of company is a big help on CV.

Cons

institutionalised work force - too many RR lifers who are stuck in and only protecting their pensions. Difficult (if not impossible) to actually effect any change. Management systems are over engineered to death. Pressure on top management to produce results - the clock is ticking on John Rishton - and poor/no bonuses for management based on lack of results.

Cons

Agile / open work environment is quite distracting and not conducive to productive work. Foreign ownership influences on work procedures are cumbersome and slow down work efficiency.
