Pros

Structured training program, comprehensive benefits

Cons

Management does not appreciate staff for the extra effort they put in, and surrounds themselves with yes men. It's either you are in the circle or you are an outsider.

Pros

Rolls-Royce Bangalore has very few pros, which are the following. - A lot of learning opportunity - Readily available details/information - Brand Value - BMTC Bus Pass

Cons

- Lack of proper management - No transparency - Support services like HR/Export Control/ IT think like they are more superior - No decent HR policies - Compensation way below market standards, you feel like service companies are better - Worst Salary Structure, designed in such a way that your take-home salary is significantly less than your CTC - Tricks employees with the offer letter - Worst IT team - No Onsite opportunity - Data Engineers/ Scientist are given more preference in terms of the yearly hike, travel, and compensation. - No employee retention policy - The attrition rate is at the peak, management seems to not care about this - Yes Boss, Management Culture - HR, Managers doesn't even try to hear employee feedback - They will roll out a 1000 surveys but no action will be taken - No proper work, vision or forecast of work. - Leaders not ready to adopt the change or challenge higher management - No streamlined process - Lot of documentation, minute engineering work is the mantra - No support for employees to move to the global role - Counterparts in UK doesn't respond to queries - They say Rolls-Royce Bangalore is a sister concern but treat as a service provider. - No monetary benefits for awards - No encouragement to recognize peer to peer. - Unnecessary micro management

Pros

Great people, good lateral mobility, great place to have as a career job, great name recognition, good flexible time policies

Cons

Poor management is stretched thin (25 people per manager who also has technical signature responsibility), limited opportunities for travel, limited opportunities for responsibility, risk averse, promote people who have been there the longest, required to sit around and learn slowly before you are given any sort of responsibility, huge emphasis on history. 2 year outlook looks poor and site depends on a few contracts coming in from military. Shift of focus of the site from design to manufacturing. Manufacturing culture and union are awful.
