Pros

Ability to work globally and influence strategy of the business - although not there now it was good when it lasted.

Cons

Amazing how much it takes to get the smallest things agreed. Not able to pick the battles- there is a "one size fits all" approach to decisions. Huge bureaucracy- no power or influence outside of the UK.

Pros

Very Competitive with salary. Great Bonus program and opportunities for travel abroad if you're in the right position. Meridian Center in Downtown Indy is a great location, and you get free downtown parking at all times.

Cons

Restructure after restructure. Organization is constantly in flux, and anytime earnings disappoint, the organization is to blame, and her comes the melt and repour. Folks leave and are not replaced, but management is hesitant to stop doing tasks.

Pros

Work schedule can be relatively flexible depending on the business unit and leadership. Work can be rewarding and fun. Again, this depends on the business unit and what you consider rewarding and fun. Opportunity for international travel. Compared to other companies, you can typically negotiate a pretty comfortable salary.

Cons

The company appears to be chipping away at employee benefits in the U.S. during the present times. Executives tend to undervalue employee satisfaction. Many "jaded" senior level employees which can be difficult to work with as an intermediate level. The everyday work can be often times boring. Forced ranking system can be unfair and focuses primarily on weaknesses which often times makes employees feel like they can never achieve success. Some of the Engineers need to pick up a Dale Carnegie book.
