Pros

Great Benefits and Competitive Pay.

Cons

Opportunities for development depend on department which you are working for. Things like tuition re-imbursement are not approved equally for all employees. As an electrical engineer, positions are limited in the Indianapolis site. Indianapolis is more of a Mechanical/Aero Engineering location in terms of most employees background.

Pros

Rolls-Royce are generally on the cutting edge so you do get to work on interesting projects. The atmosphere is generally very friendly and welcoming with a good team spirit. The work-life balance is good.

Cons

The IT system is very poor. The computers are so old that it was even holding back my work. The on-site cafeteria is very poor, just a temporary building! In general the on-site facilities aren't much better. Communication between departments can be slow and poor.

Pros

Rolls-Royce works very hard to reward employees for a job well done. Senior Management communicates on a regular basis with employees. Brand recognition is phenomenal...although people think we make cars. (smile)

Cons

Lack of women in senior leadership roles Lack of diversity
