Great Benefits and Competitive Pay.

Cons

Opportunities for development depend on department which you are working for. Things like tuition re-imbursement are not approved equally for all employees. As an electrical engineer, positions are limited in the Indianapolis site. Indianapolis is more of a Mechanical/Aero Engineering location in terms of most employees background.

A lot of people who trust each other aiming towards the same goals with a belief. Also, In life everyone has bad times and RR are very good at recognising effort in the past and affording descretion and support during this tougher times. Progression is available to all who want it and have the ability to do it. The treatment of disabled people is brillant too.

Cons

In the business need to globalise it has lost a part that makes it very special.

Very broad range of opportunities available covering a range of technical disciplines. Good well structured promotion scheme. Well paid positions with goo job security. At times frustrating but overall a good employer.

Cons

Large and bureaucratic organisations can at times stifle creativity and fast response to developing situations. This can also lead to unsatisfactory situations being unchanged or solved for long periods of time. People lose the will to try and change the company.
