Pros

Good work/life balance Lots of opportunities to move around the company Interesting problems to solve

Cons

Has no clue how to manage software. Management says agile until they are blue in the face, but everyone knows it is really just waterfall. Company is run by mechanical/electrical engineers and salespeople but they are trying to transform the company into a modern software company. They can't afford to pay their software talent competitively, so they offshore all software development, then wonder why there are so many delays and cost overruns. Consistently returns cash to shareholders instead of employees. Employees get thrown under the bus while we increase the dividend. HR is from the stone age. They give you 1-2% raises every year and no amount of overachievement is rewarded with anything more than a pat on the back. They tell you that your salary is competitive but all you have to do is go on a job search and get offers 10-50% higher. Bleeding excellent talent at a breakneck speed. Health insurance is abysmal.

Your boss is there just to harass you , you can’t expect any support , and you have to depend on everyone , even distributor , abusing language , hire and fire policy , no long term growth , just you do sales you earn or else leave , I regret my decision of joining Rockwell , if you join at country head level only than it is worth not account Manager they are just the bullocks on which everything is loaded and they are every time beaten to move fast so that company can grow but you will be the bullock

Only if you do not have job in hand. Consider it as stop-gap arrangement There is no issue in salary negotiations Salary on time

Company has hire and fire policy. No visibility on stability of role Local management is just acting for admin related activities. No business insight and business related involvement from local management No value for employee feedback and inputs
