Pros

A lot of good people. A great brand in the recruitment world. Good first step. In London - Shard.

Cons

The leaders, senior management, are very unethical and pressurise staff to 'put numbers on the board' every month whether they are genuine or not. This has caused many people to leave. There are some very sexist characters in management that favour women that sleep with them! They are also backstabbing and will slate anyone that criticises or leaves the company.

Pros

Good clients with a large variety of work to perform. Learn multiple ways to solve similar problems. Great opportunity to learn multiple ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.

Cons

There is often a long commute. There is a lack of communication from the manager, and the manager role is constantly changing. Managers do not take employee concerns seriously.

Pros

Good first job after college. The best part about being an Account Executive in Raleigh, NC were the people you work with. It's a relatively young group of employees besides the very tenured top performers. Happy hour every Friday was great to build a company culture. Their compensation for travel and entertainment are top notch. The company is definitely flush with cash to reimburse you for going the extra mile to closing deals. There are many divisions and the company is very well known so there are a lot of opportunities to cross sell between divisions.

Cons

Very long hours 8am-6pm. No option to work from home ever. You are expected to attend Networking Events monthly after work. VERY HEAVY micromanagement. The company recently invested in salesforce and can/will track every call you have planned for the day, every call you make that day, how many client visits you have, etc. This is a very high pressure environment with an open bull pen atmosphere. You hear everyone's conversations and have to be very open to having conversations next to 50 other people. They say 'uncapped commission' but you actually don't even start making commission until after about a year. Because they have so many divisions, multiple people are calling the same companies, and it can get confusing. Not a lot of time for work life balance at all. Don't take this position if you are the kind of person who likes to do something different every day. This job is VERY heavy on the phone and you will be sitting at your desk making calls 80% of the time.
