Pros

Some great people who work at this company, unlimited income potential and a great training ground for their industry of expertise

Cons

In contrast to the great people with this company, there are sadly very few true leaders and people you believe in to do the best things for your career and to follow. The branches are only as good as your local management, and in many cases that leaves a lot to be desired. Many people in management are burned out and coasting in their jobs, or in jobs that are levels over where they should be, and they fall short of expectations and being able to handle what's on their plate. They are also very disconnected from the everyday business going on. There are serious issues with inter-branch collaboration, and a lot of back stabbing in the company environment as a whole. It also seems that management continues to move people into a failing market for the company without any regard for their future with the organization or whether it's a good move for that person personally, but only to fill the spots they have open at the time.

Pros

Nothing. I have to add five words for pros, that why this sentence appears.

Cons

Apparently we are all here to help the recruiters get contact names with your former employers. I'm guessing to help them drum up business.

Pros

If you can endure the stress and pressure to perform every month, you can make a high amount of commission during a positive economy in Houston.

Cons

After 13 years at RHI as a senior recruiter, I resigned. I knew I was always just a number and no matter how many millions I made for them in perm recruiting - finance and accounting - every month you started again at zero and nothing before that mattered. The day I left the company was the day after my miscarriage at 15 weeks. They were fully aware of the pregnancy and miscarriage and I still met my monthly quota, but when I came back - I was not only given no time off and zero sympathy, but I was brought in a room and reprimanded for the # of interview I had completed the month before and told I had to complete double the # of interviews that month to make up for my deficiency. I've been embarrassed for years to speak out about this, but it should be known. This is a terrible company to work for and you can ask anyone there that it's a revolving door, but decisions are made at the top - not in your own branch and you are just a number to them no matter what you do or have done. I'm proud of the decision I made that day to go to another company. No one should have to endure that type of stress and complete unappreciation from all management all levels.
