Pros

The culture is amazing. Great people and an environment that constantly allows you to grow and learn. Excellent Benefits On site meals provided They emphasis employee engagement always look to exceed standards for work environment.

Cons

The hours can get a little crazy during peak time but that is the nature of the business. Salaries are comparable to others in luxury hotels, but hospitality overall does not have the most lucrative salaries.

Pros

-The majority of people who worked at my hotel were wonderful. -The travel discounts were amazing. I once stayed at another property for $50.00 per night. -I found the salary to be above average for the position -free staff cafeteria -wonderful employee training -holiday party

Cons

-lots of pressure to work overtime -cafeteria food was often unhealthy (heavy pasta dishes, fried food) which made for a sluggish afternoon -dealing with the Ritz employees who were in the Hotel Union was a often nightmare, and once they were hired it is hard for them to be fired.
