Pros

-Great benefits (health, vision, employee discounts) -Empowerment to immediately resolve guest issues

Cons

- Terrible hours, does not allow for work/life balance. - Compensation is low compared to competing hotels but expectations are still extremely high. - Culture and values are a facade and not lived up to. - Management not up to par. - Uniforms not up to par (I have seen multiple issues with sizes, tears, quality or even just not enough uniforms to go around.) -The company loves to talk about growth and improvement but is actually very difficult to move or achieve your goals for growth. - Company claims they care about their employees but its all about the numbers. - Employee dining is almost unbearable.

Pros

Good pay for the area. Solid budgets to provide tools for employees and guest.

Cons

Depending on the management structure at your property it can be very hard to break into management from an hourly position.
